My eldest - Chris - (new member) and his mate had a night on a local pond which seems to be turning on at last. Is spring really here

 

This little cutey goes 29 lb, falling for a mackerel fillet Nice one Tom.

nice one....i have been walking the northfield lakes in ringwood and most of the cats are still dormant, so getting one this early is a right result. Yep they love sea baits, but hardly anyone uses them, as they opt for pellets and boilies or surface fished live baits.

 

All in all, a great fish caught very early on a very underated bait.
