Popped out yesterday with Martin and Dean on AWOL - my first time aboard. What a great boat with plenty of poke!!!

We headed west fo bream but didnt locate any, so headed south to some wrecks for some shad fun. A few pollack in the coolbox and a number of wrecks visited.

The weather was amazing and the sea state almost spooky how calm it was. On the way home the sea state worsened the closer inshore we got!

I need some help with so fish ID for AWOL's Year long species hunt:

It was red and the inside of the mouth and underbelly was very blue! :

There is no prize for correct identification. Just the respect and admiration of your fellow club members!!

Funnily enough, I had a very similar fish on the ledge on Sunday. I believe that it is a small short spined sea scorpion. Mine was a mottled green but I have seen them in different liveries before, I used to catch lots of them in Scotland on holidays, from memory they have v poisonous liver.

Oi - Think you will find that is the deck pattern of a Karnic BlueWater 2460 or similar!!!

+ I have 2 witnesses and Martin is keen to add it to species total!!!
