John

May not be your cup of tea, but take a look:

Perhaps the best "small" cat in the world.

Down in the Med is what looks like a cracking Island Runner which is reputed to be one of their best models.

Similar money to the Proline and I promise it will be ten times the boat and complete with two fairly new 4 strokes.

I don't know the actual boat or even if it is still for sale, but I would kill to own her.

Two good friends and two of the most respected charter skippers in the world have both owned Glacier Bays and absolutely love and rate them as the best out there.

Roger Bayzand (Sundance fame) and Roddy Hayes (80's Alderney skipper and the man that put Madeira on the map for big game fishing in the 90's) are both legends whose opinions I hold in the highes regard. They LOVE this brand.

Seriously would be worth a look.

Just been hunting and it appears the one I mentioned may now be sold as I can't find the listings anymore, but look in the US as their are stacks of them, for fair money.

DO get it independently surveyed and I'll be happy to help with CE marking etc if you wish.

None of the importing process should be considered scary, but it's important to do it right. Simon Larman (Britboard) imported his own boat (a Proline by co-incidence) and I feel sure will also advise.

Do check out the Glacier Bays... amazing boats for their size.
