Tope trip

Hi All

 

Made it out yesterday for a try for the tope, We fished a new mark 18miles from Christchurch and we manged only one of about 12lbs with several dropped runs and a couple of congers! mackerel were really hard to find with only about a dozen all day!

 

So a change of plan for the next slack and headed to an old favorite mark 5 miles inshore and found a few more fish, no monsters but manged a 20lber on a flat calm sea A very long lean and hard fighting male but Its going to be a bit out staged buy the monsters caught in alderney this weekend!!!
