alun j. Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Before we get to Sunday's comp.......... ......can someone give a ruling about whether these rays can be taken? Having enjoyed the one I caught in the OPen comp., I would enjoy another if one came aboard on Sunday [ as I'm sure Craig would as well!!].........but I don't want to transgress any conservation rulings. Can we take Undulate Rays ? Y or N ?? Alun. Quote

shytalk Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 page 35 item 158 says that undulates must not be retained and returnwd to the sea asap !!! Quote
alun j. Posted October 16, 2010 Author Report Posted October 16, 2010 Isn't this just a consultative document ? Quote
wotu2uk Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Perhaps the club should create a clubwise policy of return only, in advance of any possible legal order. It doesn't, to me, seem reasonable for our members to keep undulates when all commercial fishers must return them. John Quote
