Neal
Whilst out yesterday my crew, John caught a small Bream. It was immediately clear to me that it wasn't the usual species caught in the harbour i.e. Black Bream or Gilt Head Bream. Unfortunately John just flicked it straight back into the see without looking closely! Looking at the aquarium project I would suggest it was a Couches Bream http://web.ukonline.co.uk/aquarium/pages/couchsseabream.html Has anyone else ever seen or caught one locally. I haven't listed it as a species as I can't verify it! Neal
Mike Fox
They get a few in the Channel Isles, white tips to the tail fins is the clue apparently. Had something like that fishing in the Canaries years ago, but didn't get a piccie. Piccie next time Neal !!! Mike
