Phil V
Finally managed to get the yak out for the first time in ages on Sunday. Slipped in at Evening Hill at first light and tried a couple of drifts near to Aunt Betty buoy for the last hour of the flood and while it was nice and quiet. No joy there and as there was a bit more traffic making its way out (in search of bream I guess) I moved a bit further down channel sticking to the edges. I finally picked up a small plaice on my last drift on the half ebb and packed in at 1030 to spend the rest of the day with the kids. All in all a cracking morning, the weather was beautiful!! Lets hope there's plenty more to come! Phil V
