With the forthcoming Open Competition fast approaching can anyone advise me where to look to find a table of percentage fish sizes.

Thanks

If you go on to the home page have a look at the tabs at the top of the page, just under forums you will see Club Records

These show Club records and specimen sizes.

I believe that on the day of the comp all competitors will get a list showing these sizes and the minimum weight [50% specimen] to bring to the scales

We are considering the removal of the "Silver Eel" from the list of available species due to the decline in numbers and it is listed as "Critically Endangered" by IUCN and like the UNDulate a UKBAP proirity Species.

The Undulate is listed by IUCN as "Endangered".

Thoughts?

Thanks

I don't think you have much choice Rob!

"Eel and shad

You must return any eel (Anguilla anguilla*) or Allis or Twaite shad you catch from any water in England and Wales.

This includes estuaries and inshore waters, to a distance of six nautical miles."

Tony,

I think that this is a decision that the Open Comp Comittee (Me and Charlie) can make, but I am more than happy for the members to voice an opinion and we can make our decision bearing that opinion in mind.

Good decision guys

Look forward to hearing all the comp info later.

I really like the size list that you put on the other thread Rob

Is it being printed to hand out? if so I am sure all of our sponsors will think its a great idea too.
