Cabin Boy dropped the anchor at the western end of the spoils shortly before 10am in a reasonable tide.

Straight away the big baits tempted whiting and this persisted with just the occasional LSD. Cuttle made no difference.

All whiting were coughing up sprats and I wonder if the cod may have been preoccupied.

We moved to the swash as the tide eased and managed ----- more whiting.

Another great day afloat with fresh fish to take home too.
