LiveBaiter
Had a short and early trip yesterday (pick down at 6am) breaming with my seven year old who outfished me 3 to 1. (Must have been the fact that he was fishing over the groundbait and I was casting away from it - thats my excuse anway!) gotta keep him interested and wanting more I thought! In three hours we had about 15 bream, betweem 1 .5 and 2.5lbs. Plus small pollack, pout, wrasse and doggies. Interestingly, we had nothing until my son demanded that we use worms instead of squid - then suddenly he had two on one drop. So rag was the key for us yesterday. A great mini trip and glad to see the bream are now about in numbers. Toby
pirky
Well done Toby ... funny that about the worm..... On Saturday I had squid and rag on a 2 hook rig and it was the worm that caught.......swapped hooks and it was still the worm hook that produced !!! great white
Well done Toby Take them to the fish for just a few hours when they are young and they are hooked for life. Make them go all day in poor weather and they would soon return to the electronic game consoles. Charlie
