48 Hr Comp

As discussed at the recent meeting - an attempt to get the 48Hr competition up and running.

 

Competition to start at 6.00pm friday 24th August - ends 6pm Sunday 26th - Neap Tides

 

Best Specimen wins.

Not sure how much time off I will get on that weekend, but Alfresco will be there when we can.

 

This is our favorite comp, because of the variety of fishing that can be tried. I hope that it gets the support it used to get.

Once again it looks like we are going to be scuppered by the weather

 

Unless the forecast changes dramatically tomorrow - it's off!

 

I will re-schedule if we get another weather window.

 

Just a reminder that the Bass Competitition - awards for Best Specimen and Catch and Release Trophy has been scheduled for Sunday 2nd September. I hope the Basss are not scared off by the boats heading out to watch the Airshow!!!

Lets hope that we have better Luck for the Bass comp, as there are a few being reported at the Moment.

 

Does it still have two prizes ?

IE: one for retained fish and one for Catch and Release

Their is a trophy Sponsored by BASS for the biggest Catch and Release fish and the Club Trophy for the Competition winner.

 

However, their may not be any left if James keeps on catching them all!!
