great white Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 Check with Navionics about using on a mac I use a navionics pc app at work, that I believe you can set up straight from the card reader on a pc, by inserting the Navionics gold card not sure if they have a mac version For my Lowrance plotter I use mapcreate, to move info from my plotter to my pc Charlie Quote
islander99 Posted August 23, 2012 Author Report Posted August 23, 2012 Hi charlie Yes I have Navionics navplanner running on a pc but I have now gone over to a mac and it cannot be used , to be honest it is a bit basic and I believe that there is now a new version which will run on a mac but I thought I would see what others use and if anything in particular is recommended. I have been in touch with Navionics and apparently I need to update my chart to get the free pc app which will also run on a mac, or just buy the the pc app for 60 Quote
