Coddy Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 If any of you are thinking of adding AIS to your boat, have a look at Standard Horizon VHF radio's, thier model available is GX2150 It has a built in a AIS reciever which when connected to your Chart Plotter will show up on the plotter as well as the radio. These new sets also have the ability to add waypoints and marks similar to your plotter. It does not transmit your position as it is only a receiver but well worth a view if you wanted to upgrade.
