Wiring a trailer board

My trailer comes with a detachable trailerboard but no wiring. I have now bought a trailer board 7-cable and 2 light clusters. However, I don't have a wiring diagram.

 

Anyone know:

1) what colour wire goto which light?

2) what colour wire goto which pin?

You'll find all you need HERE, it's the 12N socket you are interested in.

 

I would suggest checking behind the trim, in the boot of the car, on the near side... you may find a connector which will have the Right Side Light and Indicator wires in it.

 

If so, this will remove the need to split the 7-core cable between the RH & LH side of the car.

 

You need an audible, or dasboard light, warning... which indicates that the trailer is connected when indicating... the Self-Contained Relay/Buzzers are by far the easiest option.

Carside is fine, all are connected, I only need to connect the 7-wire cable to the light clusters.

Doh!! Didn't read the question properly... I was thinking you were fitting the socket to the car.
