ChrisE Posted June 25, 2013 Report Posted June 25, 2013 I've just received a statement from the AT re seals in The Severn and The Teme. Basically, they are against the seals and moaning at lack of action from the EA and Natural England. Whilst I can see the argument about the seals reducing fish stocks I can't help but wonder that they are playing into the hands of the antis with such a stance. Perhaps I am being a bit too sensitive about this. What do you think? Chris Quote
Rob Posted June 25, 2013 Report Posted June 25, 2013 Like the cormorants, if there were plenty of well managed fish populations in the sea......... charlieannear 1 Quote
Ferret Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 the seals only kill what thay eat, unlike trawlers.enough said i think bill Quote
Paul J Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 I prefer to let Nature take its course- leave them alone They are there due to the food available. Cape Cod has had a major issue with seals which has now become one of the worlds great white hotspots. Mans interference is usually the cause and rarely the solution charlieannear 1 Quote
