Sam Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 hi all im thinking of going beach fishing on wednesday with my mate because he got a load of gear for christmas and is as keen as mustard to fish. i cant get out on the boat so i wondered if any of you know any good places for beach or shore fishing quite close to poole quay just for a couple of hours i was thinking about trying holes bay for some flounder but i was wondering if any body new any better places. my friend suggested round by the entrance to the harbour does anybody know if thats anygood i know its quite good for bass in the summer but i didnt now about the winter. any suggestions? tight lines sam Quote
Bob F Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Sam, I'm not a shore expert, but from what I've heard lately, the best chance of catching anything would be at Holes Bay, Rockley or Baiter Park for flounder. You could try Evening Hill by the Yacht Club. Flounder and school bass. Bob F. Quote
