Anyone doing this ?

Walked round holes bay three weeks ago and there was three hypodermic syringes with needles in the rubbish that had been washed ashore. Got home and phoned the council and they said they was sorting it straight away. Have seen more people there last weekend clearing up stuff.

This has sort of put me off helping do this sort of event with my children.

You get to use one of those extended pick up arms/claws so it reduces the bending down and touching contaminated material.

 

Could be lumps of oil soaked rags etc.

 

Oh, a bin bag as well to put it all in
