I have 2 rods based on Conoflex blanks and they have been super performers especially my 1970's bare bones bass rod which is still going great guns and is my go to 1-3 ounce shore rod. The rod was built for me by Derek Townsend in Bridgend http://tickersworld.webs.com/ and still has its original rings and fittings and has accounted for quite a variety of fish in its day as I have also used it as a lightweight uptider . There is always something special about a Conoflex blank be a shame to see them go Peteg Quote
