steven5404
Hi guys, just joined the the club and thought I would introduce myself. My names Steve and I live in Cheltenham so therefore I don't manage to get afloat as much as a lot of you lucky guys. I recently purchased a 16 ft osprey with a 70hp evinrude and was looking for a club that could help me with the knowledge I need to catch a few fish. I have shore fished for 20 years and decided to get a boat after about 5 years of charter fishing. I will be out on the water hopefully (weather permitting) on the 23rd-24th April. Not sure where to fish yet but hoping someone on here could help with that.hope to meet you on the water soon, Steve
Reel Wizzard
might be worth going to Kimmerigde and having a go for a early bream ? You need to watch the tides and any wind coming from SW . Probably worth teaming up with some one who knows it as if you cut across to the channel to early it is very sallow and rocky. Poole patch might have a few bream by then ? Keep a eye on the catch reports.

Matt
The bream should be showing by then down kimmeridge(if not there will still be a few species about) but id suggest launching at one of the safer slips in Weymouth / Portland, its only a short hop back across the bay
