Rob
A friend of mine took delivery of a new craft today at Cobbs. I was on hand to help get it back to Sandbanks Yacht Company Marina/Dryberth today. There were a few white horses on the harbour as we drove past this morning, but by the time we had filled her to the brim & had the hand over it was much more pleasant. We had to give it the blast round shell bay to test the performance (though staying below 4500 due to running in). Nudging 40knts Old Harry isn't as far as you think! And that's not pushing it! We did some great tight turns and had it slipping a bit, what a piece of kit. Colbalt 223 with a 5.7l V8 350Mag, no rod holders but he does want to go mackerelling in the summer, assuming we don't scare them off on arrival! Just nice to be out and the weather held ok. Lunch and a well earned beer at the Clubhouse / bar, result! Steve S, Martin.C, rich185 and 2 others
