Off to the island next week for the first time, can anyone recommend somewhere to eat?

Or any tips while on the island, shop/grocery etc?

Hi Kam,

 

I assume you are going on one of the charter boats - so follow the herd!

 

A number of places near the harbour........a short "high street" of sorts - all pubs and restaurants and a convenience store.

 

Harbour Lights halfway? up the hill on the left.

 

Further up, Thai and Indian. then main street fish and chips! and others, then finally in the main square the Marais Hall - by far my favourite. Always busy, food excellent don't get there too late!

The Georgian House serves really good food well worth a visit. Have a good trip.
