Swainiac
A good find Paul, however it's nothing new is it?? Why does it take a band of white collars years to pen a report they were warned about a decade ago at least? It doesnt take a Rocket Scientist to see they dissapearing banks, reefs or other fish holding strata destroyed by increased inshore trawling does it? Perhaps with the new branch to our NFSA we can finally demand more action to save our seas. Rich
Newboy
Anyone heard/seen the report on seabirds from the RSPB? I heard a bit of it last weekend on the radio where they suggest limits on sandeels and other baitfish taken by fishing. Apparently many of the seaboirds of the british isles live on sandeels and small bait fish and angling had helped to reduce the stock further as well as pollution and other environmentally changes.
