Can I pick up any conversations, i.e., taxi since I'm many miles from the coast and will not be able to receive and signals from other boats. Quote
Barry Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 If you can pick up Taxies on your VHF then theres someting def wrong , If you've connected the plug correctly and changed nothing else then all should be ok. Just make sure theres no dry joints where you've soldered the centre core of the coax into the plug. Do you have a handheld VHF you could do a quick check with. Not strictly legal but....... Quote
