Member Removed Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 I have a few bits and bobs to get rid of at the clubs pitch at the forthcoming Boat Jumble in April. Included are a very large Danforth type anchor 78lbs (35Kgs) and a NEW wrap around cowling for a Mercury O/B - 1100 model but will fit most 6 cylinder models. Photos attached. Quote
Paul J Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Can you send a photo of the cowling as i need a new catch for mine which is a 50hp mercury blue band Quote
Swainiac Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 i can offer up a seat for a rib........supplied from a mate who no longer needs this one. I'm not sure if rib seats differ, however this one looks in good nick. Rich Quote
Paul D Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Rich, If you had two seats I could be interested .... Quote
Newboy Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Paul, the seating for a rib is different to that of a boat, you 'ride' on a rib rather than sit. There was a pair of bucket type seat in Boats and outboards, the upholstaries (?) is non existence, however, he's only asking for a tenner and if you know anyone who cover re-cover it, it might be a better bet. great white Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Paul it could be worth talking to Amber Austin [Garys wife] about recoverimg those seats. She is doing some boat covers and other bits and pieces. I would phone rather than email. Charlie Quote
Paul D Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Kam, I saw those a while ago actually during my earlier searches. A bit too tatty for my liking. They are going to take some serious recovering I have got my eye on some Wise seats which I saw at the boat show and which I have seen for sale online. Thanks for the link. cheers Paul Quote
Coddy Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Hi Paul, I had some of those seats on my Seahog, they worked ok but found the back was not high enough for me, being a tall person, and they did not give much side support. Much prefer the bucket seats on the Warrior, you know what they are like but cost a bit more. Coddy Quote
Newboy Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 What about this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...me=STRK:MEWA:IT Quote
Paul D Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 Warm Kam. The ones I am looking at are exactly the same but slightly higher back ( although still not having as much side support as the warrior bucket seats.) Quote
