Got out in the bay with Snapper Ben and Alex

 

 

 

Got to the drop off and plenty of maccys

Livelys down and some missed runs

Then I had a good thorny

Then Alex had a good thorny

 

Then Snapper had a good thorny

Then this big girl made an appearance

Brilliant Lofty.Top Angling.Somewhere I always fancied fishing.Theres a wreck Somewhere not to far out in Oxwich Bay.Supposedly cursed for Divers.As So many of them have died diving it.Trying to remove the bottles of Whiskey.

Had another Tope

Not as big and fat as the first one.

Kayakers in the know put my first one at around 40-45, so this one looks around 35-40

So strong and what amazing fish to catch. Both nearly had me in

Just to add; if you have a Triailer boat this venue is superb, it's a bit like Swanage .

The slipway is fine at high water, failing that the sand is solid so even beach launching is a option (4x4) plus there is always someone around to give a helping hand.

The tides can be huge , so carefull planning is needed, fuel trip is a fair old drive)

Its possible (although not exactly allowed) to spend the night on the beach (far right hand side) .

I leave the boat attached to the truck ready for superb night trips ( gates on entry to the private beach) for superb monster bass fishing

looks like fun, cracking fish to catch, by far one of my favourite fish to catch they just don't give in
