Rob
Well the usual suspects - Ian were onboard today. Not sure of it was to be a food or fish fest. We headed out on on lovely morning, saw Alfresco at anchor and we headed a little further but stIll in close. We stayed in long enough to have bacon, egg and black pudding rolls. Adam had both rods go one after the other, a nice spotted ray and a smoothly. Dog fish were plentiful, we moved a couple of times. Alun had a an undulates and Adam a small eye. We had moved offshore a little, wind over tide was even making the tea service challenging! With lunch in the oven we moved inshore to find slightly calmer conditions, this was the setting for Tuscan Lamb pie followed by Apple crumble and washed down with a glass of red. With the rugby on and a brew the wind picked up and so did the slop! It was fairly quiet, another undulate to AJ and only sun rays for me today, but I did get a keeper bass! Nice day out, great company and food, fishing was mediocre, but we wouldn't have had time for more between meals!!! Matt
Me too! But would you have had the right wine onboard for a fish coarse( let alone the silverware)??
Rob
That is a good point well made Matt! It's a shame the bass don't come up already aged and ready to cook too!
