Newboy
Weather prediction is just that: prediction. I wouldn't just trust onbe site over another, read a few, maybe take the worst case and base your judgement on that. I'd been out on a f3/4 forecast and it was more like f5 condition. There are many sites for weather forecast, Metcheck, Accuweather, Wind guru,..... If you want tide table more than 7 days, then I'm afriad you will have to pay for it. Site like easytide. All/most of the links are in the links page.
Barry
I've found Accuweather to be one of the better weather sites. For tides I fing it best to have a copy of the tables, Piplers do/did a decent diary type, a tidal atlas and a tidal curve for the area. Tidal curve a must for poole. Seeing as I'm limited to mostly weekends then I can plan the tides well in advance and then just keep an eye on the weather updates. It does limit me to going out, but hey, I've got a trek to get there!
