Coddy
Allan invited me and John S out on Fisheagle today and as I have only been out once this year it seemed too god to miss. Allan had suggested we try for an early Bream so we headed west, tried most of the morning in a number of different spots but only found the kennels, although some of the dogs were on the larger size than normal. As the tide slackened we headed out a bit going back towards Poole but this time it was a pin whiting spot with a few almost keepers but they were all returned. We then tried a usual ray mark and sure enough it came up trumps and we boated a few spotted rays, not biggies but nice to see a good bend in the rods. Sea state was lovely and calm but an early morning start to get the 7:30 bridge went it was quite chilly until the sun made an appearance and started to warm us all. A hot kettle and good banter was the format of the day and it was great to get away from work for the day, also going west the mobile reception is non-existent so no phone calls to deal with, great! Thanks Allan for a good day shame we did not get any additional species for the boat but at we did try Dave charlieannear, rich185, Mal Thomas and 5 others
