Wheres the best place to buy paint for the hull and how much do i need?

 

I 've been recommended international 970.

 

I need some thing hard that will stand up to trailering.

 

Any suggetions?

Hi Paul

The Hard two pack paint is international 907 in a variety of colours. it also uses a two pack 907 undercoat.

 

You will need to get all traces of any old 1 pack paint off or they will react. and do not try to apply to thick a coat as it runs easily.

 

I would shop around for prices, although you should get a discount from Pete Trew at Quay West chandlers if you contact him via his link.

 

Its not cheap wherever you get it

paul i think you are getting your numbers muddled it used to be called perfection 709 it is now just perfection be carefull to use the correct undercoat it is best applied by spray or brushed on then rolled out immediatelywith a gloss sponge roller
