jack Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 A club member had just completed a boat handling and safety course. The instructor was running through a few "hypathetical" questions. "what would you do if a squall blew up on the starboard side?",he asked." I would throw out an anchor on that side".... "What if a squall blew up from the port side too?"..." I would throw out another anchor on the port side", was the reply..."But what if another squall blew up from astern too?"..." I would just sling out another anchor from the stern "....."Hang on", said the instructor, "where are you getting all these anchors from?"...."The same damn place as you are getting all your squalls from!".was the wise reply. jack Posted April 19, 2005 Author Report Posted April 19, 2005 Bob,you pinched my reply !...although,if she's on board, enough wind to ruffle her hair can be enough to get the "willies" started..jack Quote
Bob F Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Yeh, it's amazing what a bit of wind ruffling through a womans hair can do for a man. It's enough to get my "willies" stirring, anyway. Where's the door? I'll leave before I'm pushed. BF Quote
