HAYLEY Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 (edited) Hi i have a mariner 115 hp that was started on very old fuel and then conked out after 5 mins empty old fuel replaced with new started up ran lovely for 5 or 6 mins then conked out checked as much of the fuel system as i can . can anyone recommend a good marine engineer to contact thanks paul it is 4 stroke fuel injected internal tank boat is quicksilver 640 thanks paul Edited May 28, 2018 by HAYLEY Quote
Mikey B Posted May 28, 2018 Report Posted May 28, 2018 Hi, Try the fuel tank breather screw it may be screwed closed creating a vacuum in the fuel system. Failing that a carb clean may solve the issue sometimes the pilot jets get block if it's been standing idle. Mikey B Quote
