Standard Horizon Plotters

Anyone had any experience or feedback on the Standard Horizon Plotters?

 

I downloaded the User manual for a read (as one does ), and they seem quite highly spec'd.

 

I played about with one in a shop recently and liked the joystick for moving the curser and selecting things, etc. Preferred it to the usual arrow pointer button.

 

It uses C-MAP cartography, has a 3 year warranty, and the Service Center is in Winchester.

 

Worth a more in-depth look, I think.

Bob, is it worth giving them a ring, seeing as they are so local, for a salesperson to maybe bring one over to trial??
