blueboatdriver
Had a day out with Matt and Alan (non member). We stopped off of Pevril on the way out and you could have almost walked on the mackerel;right under the boat. We drifted for a few hours with the wind steadily freshening. Matt caught his first ever tope, it weighed 17 lbs. Alan had two smaller ones of about 10 or 12 lbs. I had three cracking runs and managed to lose all three. A technique problem I think. The wind beat us eventually and we tried off of Swanage and then Ballard for bream with no luck. Although I didn't land a fish I can definately see the attraction of tope fishing and can't wait to have another go. Thanks to Matt for another great day out
