Afishionado
I read in todays Echo that the RNLI have, as part of their justification for closure of part of the slip, complained that their access to the slip in the summer is hampered by all the pleasure boats. Therefore they are asking for a new lifeboat station to be built over what is now basicly the slipway. This application goes before Lymington council shortly Mad Mike
Paul D
Mike, Wonder if it is the one listed below which has been recommended to be given permission and is due to go before committee on the 8th June ( ie. Wed ) Applications I can't see them closing the whole slipway, surely this would be madness....... but there again !
Newboy
It's busy enough with both Town Quay and Bath Road, if they close Bath Road, there's no way Town Quay can cope, not even in the winter season.
