We are having a slight change in direction this year with Competitions  as I am sure you know. 

 

 

Species Comp 10-11th June

 

Specimen Comp 22-23 July 

 

Flounder Comp 17th December

 

Details of the Junior Comp to be posted in the next few days

Will the Specimen Comp in July be run along the lines of the old 48hr comp system?

Ie fish any part of, or all of, a set 48hr period.

which used to be 1700 Friday to 1700 Sunday.

Best specimen to count, regardless of species.

Hi Charlie,

 

Ive spoken to some of the committee and we all think we want to keep this year simple and straight forward, especially with all the changes that have been made regards Competitions. 

Please remind me in December this year and I will make sure I bring it up for a possibility in 2024 Comps depending on how 2023 goes👍👍

Again, the rules are very vague Jerry. Is it 8 hours per chosen day? Can you please be a bit more specific?
Fishing time is not mentioned. Just want to clarify as you said you're going in a different direction this year.

Not quite sure what makes my suggestion difficult.

 

But if that is what the committee want, that's what we will do.

 

Like Neil I would appreciate a bit more clarity, on the rules of these few comps

A post will be coming in due course regards the Competitions, I felt it was important just to put dates out there so people could plan there diaries.
