Wedger
Had an absolutely cracking day last week on the last bass tide Wednesday, Left Poole quite late in the morning to head out to the mark stopping briefly a mile or so short to pick up mackeral joeys whilst the tide picked up. 50 or 60 in the bait wells we headed off to the first drift. Remembering my last trip I was dreading the first fish this time, as it was my first and last on that day You guessed it, Wedger's in first again. Determined not to make an ass of myself a second time, I took it really gently, and eventually landed a prime 5 lber. Drift after drift the fish came steadily in most around this 5lb stamp. By the end of the flood I had 5 fish between 4 and 7lbs. Slack water again saw us on the hunt for joey, but found it quite hard, this time, to find the smaller fish.
