Afishionado Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I have been busy for a week or so and not read the forum so I don't know what the fishing is like lately. It looks like there is a short window of calmer weather coming up next week (Tues' /Wed'). This being so, what is the recommendation for an area either inside Poole harbour or around the bay area and what should we expect to catch, bait etc? Mad Mike Quote
great white Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I will let you know if I can get out Mike, have not wet a line for a month. There should be whiting and Cod out there now Cod bait is squid usually Whiting seem to like mackeral, sandeels, squid strip or worm Tight lines Charlie Quote
TomBettle Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I have a couple of weeks off and finges crossed will have my boat round from Weymouth so will be looking to get out too. Any tips on marks would be greatly appreciated and anyone who wants to come out would be welcome. Anything from the harbour to the rips is fine with me... Tom Quote

Tom Look for a white Seahog Samurai, if the usual format happens we will be anchored over where the fish are not! Mad Mike Quote
