Afishionado
Anyone know the torque setting for a Mariner/Mercury 60hp prop nut? Coddy Not very tight! If you have not found the manufacturers setting then try this general rule. Up tight but don't go mad, then back off half a turn. plaicemat
Dave, according to my Mariner Maintenance Manual, the prop nut should be torqued to 55 lb.ft (75 N-m). Hope this helps. Terry B.
