TomBettle
Taking Phil Deller and his old man out tomorrow on Quest II to see if we can get their arms pulled out of thier sockets by a snake or two (Very small tides). The met office is giving an awful forecast, but everyone else is so so. So I have said we shall suck it and see, but may have to beat a hasty retreat. If we can stand up and the boat hasn't been shaken to pieces we may have a hour or two chasing Plaice after the encouraging report from Rich. If we get afloat and we manage to wet a line then I shall report back in the evening. Tom If I haven't reported back by about 20:00 could someone please call the coast guard? Swainiac
Good luck and tight lines Tom..........don't drift out of club waters.....we didnt get the flatties where you said in your PM to me. Stay E of the lights They also took small baits, single rag, two inch strip of squid, so massive baits may not be needed. Both fish were stuffed to the gunwhals with bivalves......so anchoring anywhere near the beds should do. Green beads were the common denominator.
