Coddy
Hi all Came across this site and downloaded it seems to wrk fine. It has a limited number of UK locations but includes Bournemouth, Weymouth & Portsmouth for tidal points. You can get it here J Tides Do read the download instructions first. I found that it did not automaticly add an icon to your desktop but this can be easily sorted. It does require Java to run but that can be downloaded at the same site if you don't have it already loaded on your PC. Oh, best bit it is 'Freeware' so it does not cost you anything and it does not run out of dates! Enjoy Coddy
TomBettle
I use http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk Gives a pretty accurate 7 day prediction free of charge. If you want to go further into the future then you pay for the privelage. Ports all around the world with several in Poole Harbour alone. Paul D
Or you could use wxtide which is no longer officially available for download ( as the tide data is licensed ) - however, it can still be obtained if you PM
spNOam
Thanks Paul, I was quite upset to lose wxtide when my hard drive crashed, great to have it back.
Paul D
No problem. Just tried the J Tides program that coddy has highlighted and have to say it is well impressive - I like the layout, looks much more "pretty" than wxtide.
