JIMBOB Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 I would love to book in some fish, but pollock under 5lbs seem a bit small for the book. ......................If the book looks a bit empty, I had a few specimen launce Quote
Paul D Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 I thought posting a Pout of around 1 oz would be pushing it a bit as well Charlie, you should have received Alun J's Wrasse catch report. ( I get them sent to me as well ). Only other catch report to date is one from Coddy ( Wrasse ). If you want a copy of them, I have them here. Quote
Fugazi Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Charlie, I've e-mailed you my tally for Friday but as I'm new to fish reporting not sure if I was supposed to have weighed them? Guess I thought only specimen or really good fish needed to be weighed and recorded, not every fish. I must get some good accurate scales on the boat for the smaller catches, my existing ones are not suitable for weighing 1oz pout etc. Gordon H Quote
Paul D Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Gordon, Best way to report fish catches is to use the link at the top of this web site labelled "E-Mail Catch Report". I am hoping that you didn't use this ( if you did it would appear to be not working ! ) Personally, I only record good fish ( which isn't that big for me usually ). I dont have any scales onboard capable of accurately weighing a 1oz fish. Quote
Newboy Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Then how do you know it was only 1 oz? It could have been 2-3 oz...... Quote
Paul D Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Trust me - when I say around 1 oz I was actually exaggurating Quote
