TomBettle
FOR SALE Selling for a friend: What looks like a pukka Orkney Longliner 16 with Yamaha 15Hp 4 stroke. All sitting on the original Orkney Trailer. The engine looks virtually unused with a perfect prop and is fitted with Dolphin Hydrofoils. Stored in a garage away from the boat. The boat is tarpaulined on the owners drive and looks close to perfect. I had a very quick glance around and could see a transducer, but don't know what if any fish finder will be at the end of the wires... Fitted with a dark blue folding spray dodger it gives large cuddy style protection when raised, but has the option to lower on better days. The boat benefits from a small steering console and full remotes with a centrally mounted bucket seat aft of the normal thwarts. Pictures can come for those who are interested, just had a quick glance and it looks superb. The owner purchased her in '99, but her hull number shows she was built in '98. Lying on her trailer at his house in Branksome any viewing to potential buyers is welcome. Great package, sea worthy and looks ready to go. Offers around
TomBettle
Anyone interested? I have a stack of questions from boatsand outboards so don't expect her to hang around, even a trader is likely to offer close to the asking price (someone I deal with regularly so don't doubt his word). Would rather sell it to someone I know as I am sure it is a good one. Anybody? Tom

TomBettle
Up to 50 foot with Jeanneau 116 foot with Azimut and about 250 foot with Benetti Let me know what takes your fancy Bob. If it is the larger one, the 50 foot Jeanneau makes a cracking tender! Getting two means your crew of 10 will have something to play with on their time off. TomBettle
And finally: I have now doscovered he isn't the first owner, but did by through a dealer. He has NEVER used the boat. It also looks like the trailer has never seen salt water and is so close to mint. 1) Very small scratch to stem 2) Small fingernail sized gel repair to starboard bow 3) You have to look for them but the engine cowling has a couple of very minor scratches. This boat seems A1+++ for the year. Tom
TomBettle
UNDER OFFER Well, sale is on hold subject to viewing this weekend by a club member to whom I have offered first refusal. I hope it will make him the perfect run around this Summer until he is ready for the next step up. Another reason why I love this forum so much!
