Hardly a byecatch Duncan. I get the impression that I am not the only one in this club who's fishing is mainly made up of these hard fighting species. Wedger
Nice one Trevor Now you have to decide wether to eat it or use it for bait. How did the engine go? and tell the missus the pennant really looks good Charlie Didn't know where to reply to this, so I'll keep it here . 1. It's in the marinade and I've checked the gas for the barbie. 2. B@st@*d still leakin' so my simple assumption was duff . I'll have to clean her up and give her a run with me in the engine compartment 3. Mi darlin' thanks ya'all for the kind words..... machine in fa service, and herself has just touched me fa many squids to exchange for material and thread. Wedger
Well just for the unofficial Cephalopod records I bagged a 3lb 8.5oz cuttle as well. Too darn much for a feed and a bit tough so have frozen to convert into 20lb cod next winter T

jack
Hi Kam,you said earlier in this thread that you would produce a recipe for TENDER squid,,I see also that you claim your miniature Rock as at least a specimin,Its only average for our boat, but you failed to say if you could produce a recipe to tenderise these darned things.. jack
Newboy
Jack, there's no need to anything to the squid they are fairly soft as it is, just don't over cook it. I once said I'd do some photos on how to clean and cut a cuttle as well as a few way of cooking (eating) it so that it won't be tough.
