they got away with ..............

 

There was quite a lot of stuff, here's the main items:

 

2 Shimano Antares 6-12

2 Shimano beastmaster 30-50

1 Shimano beastmaster 6-8

1 Custom built Metcalfe bass rod (11' 3lb test)

1 Zziplex bass rod 12'

1 Diawa ringless spinning rod 11'

1 Abu bass rod (unused!!!)

1 Ugly stick sapphire 6-12

 

2 Abu 7000 synchro

2 Abu 7500

1 Abu 6500

2 Shimano baitrunners

1 Abu garcia spinning reel

 

Plus a lure box with approx 20 rapala plugs

Another lure box with tobies, dexter wedges, etc

Another lure box with 20 pkts of shads and other wide eyed lures, muppets, etc

Various tackle wallets with feathers mostly shibuku

Hook boxes with 20+ packets of hooks

Box with swivels, beads, sliders, etc

Shakespeare tacklebox

 

Two piece survival suit, flares, life jackets,

plus the usual bits and pieces, leads, knives, balances....

agreed but this boat was out on a mooring with a fair haul back in the tender so I can understand the issue.

 

I stopped leaving anything more valuable than a lifejacket on board after a couple of breakins but then I am on a pontoon and can get the car near the boat. real pain in the neck but even overnight I do it.

front page of New milton advertiser/Lymington Times. 20 thefts from Keyhaven boats in last 14 days. Tackle, motors, boats, electronics, you name it, there taking it. A dodgy place to have a mooring at the moment me thinks

hi all make that 21 thefts we whent down on saterday to check on the boat to find it open and yamaha 5hp. two good rods and reelsa nd a large tackle box full of rapalas ect gone missing. robbing bas@%rds.

Make sure you report the outboard to StolenBoats and the details will get circulated. ( and of course the marine police ).

Hi Barry, god to see you using the Forum. I spoke with Hampshire Police Marine unit, and believe it or not, they couldnt get a registration number from the CCTV footage of the Landy that removed the Rib from Lyomo!! I was amazed........it appears that they can get your number from CCTV high on a stantion above the M25, just in order to send you a

the trouble is it takes something like this to make you realize that you cant leave anything onboard.but we use a small dingy to get out to the boat and us being big blokes,plus a couple of tanks of fuel, bait and tackle ect the thing was nearly under water lol. still could have been worst the boat and engine could have been gone.or sunk...
