I am planning on bringing my pilothouse 640 down from kent for the comp and will have a couple of spaces if interested, in return for showing us where to fish as it will be my first time out of Poole

well watch out 'cos I took my 660 down to Poole one day from it's Medway berth and I never went back - and that was nearly 6 years ago!

Welcome to the club. I see you are another member with the same birthday [ I think there are 3 or 4 of us on 18 / 6 ].

 

What sort of fishing do you like/prefer , if not constrained by the weather ??

Most of the fishing I do in Kent / Sussex is wrecking but a couple of times a year I take the boat away for a few days to try other things, Weymouth and Dartmouth this year so some inshore livebaiting and trolling for Bass and Pollack.

Next year the plan is to spend 5 days out of Poole, one of the reasons for joining, so I will be bringing Sea Mistress down for the odd day to explore beforehand.

Post up when you intend to visit and you'll nave a queue of offers [ more at weekends ] for crew who all be able to give some local experience.

 

Best to avoid Feb. and March, as there's not much about here then and it can be slow to pick up in April [ better further west ].

Sorry but I now have a full crew of 4
