Made it out into Poole bay for the first trip in ages. Fished outer Poole Patch and managed a few dogfish. It was was cold, the sea lumpy and the wind somewhat fresher than forecast. There are quite a few nets around the rock! I wonder if they are having any better luck?

 

It was good to get out but I am looking forward to some more settled weather never mind Bacon butties saved the day.

Hi !

 

Saw you leaving Poole about the same time as us - we were fishing from yacht "Frisky Fox" near the Castle, as you went back in.

 

I remember reading the write up about the Landau when it was new - the design was meant to eliminate wash at low speeds I recall. Have always taken great care to check the wash whenever they come past - and it does seem to be minimal compared to other motor boats. Looks a practical fishing boat too!
