So saturday looks the quietest day of the week I thought a trip out of Lymington to shelter on the north banks of the IOW and see what those reefs and holes might produce. alun j. Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Hi Gordon, Would love to come along......but it's my daughter's 18th, with big party and extended family get-together. By Sunday, I'll need some 'fresh air'. so am planning a trip out then. My antennae are pointing to continued windy conditions...... so Solent may be the best cod venue. I've just dug some 'snakes', so might put them to use in pursuit of roe-fat flats, tbc on thurs , at the meeting. Good luck in the Solent on Sat. Alun. Quote

I would enjoy your company mate but arranged something with Adam early this morning as his plans changed. Someone else pmed me so if they are in a position to still go I am sure they will be in contact and I suggested that we could buddy up. Looking to go Saturday 7 ish and be back no later than 3 ish as I have a function to attend on Saturday evening. Weather is looking breezy at the moment but should be ok tucked in the IOW. Going to explore the Hamstead ledges a bit, so if anyone fancies buddying of has a few tips please do Quote
