Newboy Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Just got a new computer but Outlook Express isn't accepting any attachments coming thru with the email. The email itself comes thru alright, but there's not 'paper clip' and no attachment. It's using XP home and runs on Talktalk broadband with Macaffee anti virus/firewall. Any thoughts? Quote
Paul D Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Might seem obvious but have you got the attachments selected in the "view" options ( ie. from the menu bar - view and then columns ) Make sure attachment is ticked in the list Quote
Newboy Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 It's on the menu bar, it shows up as a topic with a paper clip. However, in line with the email when there's an attachment, a paper clip should appears in the colume, but it isn't in my case. Just wandering if there's a setting in Mcafee which stops attachments from coming in? Quote
