Managed a couple of better photos with the SLR of Gastonaught drifting for photos in the swash

Are they from the same camera? The first one seem to be better quality.

No both from canon 350d but both saved into Microsoft paint which automatically reduced them from 1MB to 200kb and you can see the edges have gone a little ragged but if you see the originals they are excellent

I think the second picture suffers because it is brightly side lit. There is too much glare on the left of the picture causing the cameras exposure 'brain' to average out. Turning the boat slightly to starboard would have improved the picture.

The pics of Out of The Blue going through the Swash only have Adam in them. Where did you go ??
