Coddy
Took Sammy out for a second trip in two days!!!! (brownie points now used up) Bill and I headed East this time to try for some Bream. First stop Poole patch and within minutes of the lines and ground bait going in we were into to fish, not large but around 1lb each and put up a nice scrap. The flood started and the fish switched off, loads of boats around and all seemed to struggle for fish. After an hour or so with hardly anything showing apart from Bill managing to get a Goby of some sort and a Ballan Wrasse, we headed off for Southbourne. We just dropped the pick when PJ turned up so had a quick chat and got stuck into the doggies and again Bill managed to pull out a small whiting! Tme to move again, inshore this time as the sea had started to get an uncomfortable chop on it, but nothing showed so headed back to Poole Patch for the last hour or so but again nothing wanted to play so in and recovered the boat. Nice start to the day but the wind and what tide there was made an uncomfortable chop so a slower ride back in, wtare was quite rough around Sandbanks and the ferry area. Hope others did well.
